Hopefully, the question of who- precisely- I am is of little consequence beside what I have to say, but for those who seek the source in the interest of context:
I am a child of the early 1980s who steered her life vigorously into the field of Music Education, with the cello as vehicle of choice. I have held two teaching positions, but spent much more time substitute teaching and maintained a private studio since 2000. I am a habitual seamstress and crafter, an atheist who defies societal expectations, owner of a well-managed mood disorder and two cats, a wife since August of 2014 and a mother since shortly after that. I’ve always been a maternal, nurturing personality but that doesn’t mean I’m blindly compliant or without opinions.
